Warranty: We provide a 60-day warranty for defective items (excluding those damaged or misused after receipt, and problems caused by logistics). All warranties begin from the date the product is received. We do not replace or refund items with an expired warranty. To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us at support@cottagechest.com.
Cancellation Policy:
- Unpaid orders are automatically canceled.
- Cancel orders before shipment: Full refund.
- Cancel orders after shipment: 80% refund.
- Orders on "label created" status cannot be canceled. Contact us for details.
- If you wish to cancel your order during delivery, a package interception fee of $18 per box will be charged by the shipping carrier.
Return & Refund:
- Cottage Chest will issue a full refund, including shipping, for damaged, defective, or mis-shipped items.
- Return without any reason: Not Accepted.
- Return with a quality issue: Replacement or refund after confirmation.
- Return with a non-quality issue: 80% refund of payment.
- Return or refund after the warranty period: Not Accepted.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Non-quality related returns:
- If you decide you don’t want the item, or purchased it in error, the return shipping fee is not covered, and a 20% restocking fee applies.
- We don't process return requests caused by subjective assembly issues without clear evidence of defects.
Return & Exchange Conditions:
- Items returned without authorization will not be accepted.
- Return/exchange time frame must not exceed 30 days from the original order receipt.
- The item must be unassembled, unused, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, and with original tags attached.
- Items must be in the original condition; retain the original package.
- We are not liable for lost or damaged return items; keep the receipt with tracking information.
Issues Not Liable For:
- Items exposed to corrosive substances or chemicals.
- Assembled/disassembled, used, washed, altered, damaged items without original tags.
- Items damaged by misuse, mishandling, poor maintenance, or natural uncontrollable factors.
- Items lost during delivery due to unauthorized address changes.
Change Address:
- Contact us to change the address before shipment.
- Once shipped, an address correction fee of $21 per box applies.
- We are not responsible for lost packages due to incorrect addresses provided by customers.
Exchange Policy:
- We do not offer an exchange service.
- For wrong items, contact us for solutions, including partial refunds or returns.
Receive Wrong Item:
- Contact us with pictures for options: keep at a discount or request the correct item.
Receive Damaged Item:
- Contact us immediately with pictures; we'll send a replacement or issue a refund based on the damage.
Package Lost:
- Correct address: Contact us after checking with neighbors; we'll file a lost package claim.
- Wrong address: Cottage Chest is not responsible for lost orders due to incorrect customer-provided addresses.
Price Differentials Policy:
- Customers can apply for a refund of the price difference within 3 days for full-priced items.
- Excludes clearance items and special promotions.
